How to Apply – Application Process
The implementation of this scheme is done through a collaborated effort involving Anganwadi workers, Asha Sahyoginis, ANMs, and the Health Department. Here’s how the process works:
During Pregnancy: Anganwadi workers, Saathins, and Asha Sahyoginis collect Bhamashah card and bank account details from pregnant women during their ANC (Antenatal Check-up).
These details are then submitted to the nearest government hospital.
Before Delivery: The concerned ANM enters the mother’s details in the RCH Register and ensures 100% online entry in the PCTS software.
Post-Delivery and Immunization: During home visits and on MCHN (Mother and Child Health Nutrition) days, field workers collect or verify details like Bhamashah card, Aadhaar, and vaccination records.
If any woman does not have a Bhamashah card, she is motivated to visit the nearest e-Mitra center to apply and submit the details at the Anganwadi or hospital.
School Enrollment: Parents must submit the school admission certificate to avail of benefits during Class 1, 6, 10, and 12 stages.
Public Awareness: Awareness campaigns are conducted by the Women and Child Development Department and the Medical, Health, and Family Welfare Department to ensure maximum enrollment.
