Benefits of Ladli Laxmi Yojana
Upon successful registration in the scheme, the following benefits are provided to the girl child:
₹1,43,000 assurance certificate issued in the name of the girl. | Scholarship Payments: ₹2,000 on admission in Class 6 ₹4,000 on admission in Class 9 ₹6,000 on admission in Class 11 ₹6,000 on admission in Class 12 |
₹25,000 as an incentive for higher education (graduate or professional course of at least 2 years), paid in two installments. | ₹1,00,000 as final payment when the girl: Turns 21 years old Has appeared in the Class 12th exam Is married after the legal age as per the Child Marriage Prohibition Act, 2006 |
Eligibility Criteria
For General Cases:
- Girl child must be born on or after January 1, 2006
- Must be registered at a local Anganwadi center
- Parents must be permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh
- Parents must not be income taxpayers
- Family should have two or fewer children
- Family planning must be adopted after the birth of the second child
- For the first girl child, family planning is not mandatory
- For the second girl child, family planning is compulsory for eligibility
For Special Cases:
- In families with maximum two children, if one parent has passed away, registration is allowed until the girl is 5 years old
- If triplet girls are born during the first delivery, all three are eligible
- Girls born to women prisoners, rape victims, or abandoned children in orphanages are also eligible
- Adopted girls can also benefit (application must be made within 1 year of adoption and before the child turns 5)
- In case of medical reasons for not adopting family planning, approval can be granted up to 2 years
- All special cases are subject to the district collector’s approval
Documents Required
To apply for the Ladli Laxmi Yojana, the following documents are mandatory:
- Samagra ID of the girl child
- Family Samagra ID
- Photo of the girl child with her mother or father
- Family Planning Certificate (if applying for the second girl child)
- Girl’s Birth Certificate
- Vaccination card of the girl
- Residence proof of parents (Voter ID/Ration Card etc.)

- All documents must be uploaded in jpg, jpeg, png, gif formats
- File size must be between 40 KB to 200 KB
