Benefits
- Financial Support: Eligible students receive ₹60,000 annually through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) directly to their bank accounts.
- Target Group: Students from OBC, SCM (Socially and Educationally Backward Classes), and Nomadic Tribes categories (excluding certain sub-groups) studying in Maharashtra are eligible beneficiaries.
- Coverage: Beneficiaries include both professional and non-professional course students pursuing higher education in recognized TVET or academic institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Residency: Must be a resident of Maharashtra.
- Caste/Category: Belong to OBC, SCM, or eligible Nomadic Tribes (with some exclusions).
- Family Income: Annual parental income should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.
- Educational Enrollment: Must have passed 12th grade and be enrolled in a recognized post-secondary program (degree or diploma).
- Attendance: Minimum 75% attendance is required each academic year.
- Other Special Conditions: Disability: Must present a valid certificate verifying ≥40% disability. Orphan: Requires a certificate from the Women & Child Welfare department.
- Non-local Residence: Students studying away from home and living in hostels or rented accommodation may qualify, subject to documentation

How to Apply
Offline Application Process:
- Visit your nearest Social Welfare office (block or district level).
- Obtain and fill out the application form, attaching required documents and a photo.
- Submit the completed form and retain the acknowledgment receipt.
- After verification, the approved financial assistance is credited to your bank account via DBT.
Online Application (if available):
