MP Laptop Yojana: Free Laptop’s for MP Students, Application Form

The Madhya Pradesh Government has launched the MP Laptop Yojana 2025 to encourage digital education and reward meritorious students. Under this scheme, the government provides ₹25,000 to Class 12th students who score high marks, helping them purchase a laptop for higher education and skill development.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for MP Laptop Yojana 2025, the student must:

  1. Be a student of the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE)
  2. Have passed Class 12th in 2025
  3. Have secured at least 85% marks (general criteria), or 75% or above (as per 2025 update)
  4. Have a bank account in the student’s name
  5. Possess valid Aadhaar number and bank details

  • Class 12th marksheet (MP Board)
  • Aadhaar card
  • Bank passbook copy (with IFSC code)
  • Passport size photograph
  • Mobile number

Application Process

Note: Students do not need to apply separately. The school/institution and education department handle the data entry.

A list of eligible meritorious students is prepared by the Education Department

The list is made available on the official portal: educationportal.mp.gov.in

Schools are required to fill in student bank details on the software module:

Bank account number

IFSC code

Name of the bank

After verification, the government transfers ₹25,000 directly to the student’s bank account

Latest Update on MP Laptop Yojana 2025

On July 4, 2025, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that the government has transferred ₹25,000 each to 94,234 students

These students scored 75% or above in the Class 12th MP Board exams

The total disbursed amount is approximately ₹235 crores
