Eligibility Chief Ministers Rojgar Yojana Goa
Age | The age criteria for eligibility is set between 18 and 50 years, with a provision for relaxation by 5 years in the case of widows, disabled individuals, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and other backward class persons. |
Educational Qualification | Minimum educational qualification is completion of the VIIIth grade, with provisions for relaxation in deserving cases. Preference will be accorded to individuals possessing technical or professional qualifications, including candidates trained by GHRSSIDC, Agriculture Department, Forest Department, or under any other Government Training Scheme. |
Family Income | No income ceiling is imposed, ensuring inclusivity for all economic backgrounds. |
Residence Proof | Applicants must demonstrate permanent residency in the area for a minimum of 15 years. Required documentation includes a Residential Certificate, School Leaving Certificate, Passing Certificate from Goa Board/Goa University, or any document deemed satisfactory by the sanctioning authority. |
Defaulter/Non-Eligibility | Applicants must not have a history of default with any nationalized bank, financial institution, or co-operative bank. Additionally, individuals who have already received assistance under another subsidy-linked scheme will not be eligible for consideration under this program, unless specific relaxations or provisions are otherwise stipulated. |
Covered Activities CMRY
CMRY encompasses a wide array of economically viable and legal activities. However, dealing in alcohol and tobacco is explicitly excluded. The scheme extends its support to activities like CSC-VLE, startups, homestays, bed and breakfast services, and civil/electrical contractors.
Interest Rate
Penal interest of 8% p.a. is applicable on both EDC Term Loan and DITC Share Capital. Additionally, a 2% p.a. penalty is charged on the defaulted amount for the defaulted period.
